Twilight
There seems to be some twilight
And we're caught somewhere between
Scattering the hindsight
Where we're going, where we've been
As it hides below horizon
It leaves the softest afterglow
Of what to keep our eyes on
And just what we must let go
What matters is perspective
As its viewed before it's gone
Consequently introspective
It could be dusk or could be dawn
If it blinds you then you're weaker
Than the ones that came before
To remind who comes the teacher
That we have to do much more
So that when you see the twilight
Just prepare to put on shades
Or remove them as if midnight
Will divulge what to evade ...
